VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEETINGS: Second Thursday of the month @ 1PM in county building upstairs conference room 201 Meeting minutes on file in Veterans Affairs office.
Monthly coffee and donuts on the first Tuesday of each month (9 AM to 12 PM) @ Veterans Club, 3221 M76, Standish. Informal round table setting.
Office will be closed September 16-18; VSO will be attending MACVC Fall conference.

24th Veteran Appreciation Cookout at The Brook of Standish @ Eden Fields, from 12 - 2. Event is being put on by The Brook Retirement Community. Veterans and families are encouraged to attend.
Recipient of the Leo M. Leggett Award for Division 1 for 2026 by The American Legion. This award recognizes the County Veterans Affairs office for their relentless effort to champion the cause and conditions of Michigan's Veteran community and their dedicated support of The American Legion VA&R.
Division 1 is for counties with less than 1600 veterans
